The day has arrived…it’s hometime for us!
These past 2 years have, without a shadow of a doubt, been the best 2 years of my life so far.
Skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, ice skating, kayaking, hiking, ice walking, partying, road-tripping, learning, laughing, working, eating, drinking and 100% living!
Big thanks to all the friends and family who made the trip over to see us. We are so lucky we had so many visitors to our little slice of paradise. It was so great showing you all around.
Canada is an amazing country, for me it’s just like a huge version of NZ, which is probably why I feel so at home here. From the Rockies to the Prairies to the Eastern Maritimes, there is beauty everywhere you look. The diverse scenery, the awesome wildlife, the yummy food, the extreme weather and the friendliest of people.
I’ve given up on scouring town for the perfect souvenir to remind me of Canada. The memories, my beautiful tattoo and the twang of Country music can never be lost or broken.
Most importantly, we have made so many lifelong friends here, from all over the world. People we met on our travels, work colleagues and our amazing flatmates. We have been blessed with an abundance of likeminded people to share this experience with. We love you all. xoxo
Canada, we will miss you dearly.
